Body Massage Ease Pain Faster

Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document the use of massage. The ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians, as well as the Japanese, Romans and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and even Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. In the modern United States we now use many different kinds of massage therapies, each of which offers specific benefits to the mind and body. Full Body Massage is one of the methods. I have had many of these, and always leave feeling great. My biggest surprise was how great my skin felt afterwards.

Full body massage comes with many benefits including relaxation, leading to better sleep. It can ease stiff joints and also aids circulation and digestion. A full body massage can involve a series of movements that work on the surface of the skin. This, as well as many organs, are left feeling refreshed. A deep tissue massage may ensue, relaxing any muscle ache or pain.

With any massage, special equipment is used. For commercial use, a table with a horseshoe shaped head support for ease of breathing while lying face-down. It has a padded surface which is easy to keep clean and remain hygienic. Mats and pillows are also used for additional support.

Not only tables, but chairs are often used. Chairs are very popular for public location massages whereby the client is sitting, fully clad, and can be easily transported from site to site. Generally for massages, the client is in underwear or nude covered in towels, in private with gentle music playing.

The body massage routine will be tailored to the each individual's needs. For those clients who are apprehensive about a massage treatment may need some reassurance. A professional Massage Therapist will offer this treatment respecting the client's modesty at all times. The client is covered in towels, which are turned back to reveal only the area to be massaged at that time. Areas massaged in a full body massage are normally back, legs (back and front), arms front of shoulders and optionally abdomen.

To unwind and relax, try a full body massage. It will make you feel great! In the United States there are about 90,000 massage therapists. Most states in the United States require a license to practice massage therapy. In South Korea, only the visually impaired and blind are allowed to practice massage therapy! Training in the US generally involve between 500 and 100 hours. Make sure to try a Swedish, holistic or deep tissue massage. You will not be disappointed!
